ViaAir started a new nonstop service between The South Terminal at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) and Tucson, Arizona (TUS). The AUS to TUS service started on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018. The inaugural flight ceremony included remarks by ViaAir representative, live music performances by Barbara Nesbitt, cake and a ribbon cutting.
The ViaAir nonstop service from AUS to TUS will operate three days per week, on Thursdays, Fridays, and Mondays. The flight will depart Austin’s South Terminal at 10:50 a.m. and arrive in Tucson at 12:20 p.m. Flights will depart Tucson at 1:05 p.m. and arrive at Austin’s South Terminal at 4:10 p.m
