Latvian national airline airBaltic has cancelled the EUR 5 check-in fee previously paid by some passengers.
Tero Taskila, Chief Commercial Officer: “Making travel affordable for our customers and lowering prices is airBaltic’s priority.”
Previously members of the BalticMiles loyalty programme and passengers checking-in for their flight online via www.airBaltic.com were exempted from the check-in fee.
“If all airBaltic passengers checked-in online they cumulatively would save some 60 million minutes every year and could use this time to do things that have higher value in their lives,” continues Tero Taskila.
