Global aerospace parts and services firm Ontic inaugurates new MRO facility in Florida
MIRAMAR, Florida — Ontic has officially opened its first dedicated Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility in Florida, with a US $10 million investment in Miramar. The 64,000-square-foot centre becomes the company’s eighth global site and supports the full range of Ontic-manufactured parts and systems.
Located at 15701 SW 29th Street in Miramar’s business park, the FAA-approved facility is equipped with an in-house paint room, vibration-testing suite, machine shop and portable dark room to provide comprehensive MRO services across electro-mechanical, avionics, actuation and hydraulic systems.

The investment creates approximately 150 new high-value jobs in Broward County, reaffirming the region’s position as a premier aviation and aerospace hub. Ontic has indicated that the Miramar site is the first step in its broader plan to build a global network of MRO “Centers of Excellence” across North America and Europe, backed by a total investment of US $30 million.
Jack Karapetyan, Vice President of Global MRO Operations for Ontic, commented: “The opening of our first-ever Ontic MRO Center of Excellence marks an important milestone … This investment enhances turnaround time and transparency, transforming how we support airlines and operators.”
With Miramar now operational, Ontic underscores its commitment to enhance aftermarket and OEM support, enabling consistent service delivery to its international customer base while leveraging Miramar’s skilled workforce and strategic location.
