Saudi Arabia-based low-cost carrier NAS Air is set to make its entry into India by launching direct flight services on the Riyadh-Kochi sector, The Hindu has reported. Officials of the Cochin International Airport Limited have confirmed that they had been approached by the airline with a proposal to commence the service, but said that the exact launch date would be known only after the final round of discussions. Operations were expected to start in the first quarter of 2010.
