Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) today reported the annual air traffic figures of 2010 at the Bengaluru International Airport as well as an insight into the 2011 forecast. With revived business travel and increased leisure travel, the upward growth trend continued from July last year with annual figures touching 11.24 million. The passenger traffic in the last quarter was 3.06 million and on December 17, 2010, the airport handled 38,134 passengers, both figures are the highest ever reported since airport opening in May 2008.
