Air Tanzania has received notification from the Tanzanian Government that it has had its Air Operator Certificate reinstated thereby permitting the airline to resume flight operations.
The AOC was withdrawn some weeks ago under unclear circumstances. The Tanzanian government has injected some 2.5 billion Tanzania shillings into the company and has promised to make further funds available in order to get the national airline flying again
