The carrier gave 20 agents the chance to be a model for the night at an event staged at Le Meridien Airport Hotel in Garhoud, Dubai.
SAA manager Middle East Rajendran Vellapalath said the show was not only designed to launch the brochure in an ‘out-of-the-box' fashion, but also to reward the trade for their dedication to selling SAA.
“Travel agents are and will always remain crucial in the distribution of South African Airways' products,” he said.
“It was high time for us to give something back to the travel trade – for them to explore and experience something different that will eventually contribute to their self confidence and positive attitude.
“We took this as an opportunity to build close relationships with the agents, make new contacts and get market feedback.”
