TUSAŞ and BAE Systems Sign Strategic Collaboration on Unmanned Aerial Systems
Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BAE Systems to cooperate in the development of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and related advanced technologies.
The agreement aims to evaluate joint opportunities in next-generation unmanned platforms and foster new areas of cooperation in design, development, and technological innovation.

Within the scope of the collaboration, both companies will focus on:
- Advancing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV/UAS) platforms
- Joint Research and Development in autonomy, mission systems, and AI-supported control algorithms
- Enhancing cooperation on composite structures, avionics integration, and flight control software
- Developing competitive solutions for global defense markets
This partnership strengthens Türkiye’s strategic position in the global unmanned systems ecosystem and reflects the aviation industry’s transition toward more autonomous defense capabilities.
