Imran Abdulazimov who fought at Chechen-Russia War was brought to Ataturk Airport to send back to Russia. Abdulazimov who is said to be a commander in Chechen army torn his passport in order to avoid deportion. His wife and children sobbed during this ordeal
His wife Ayzan Abdulazimov couldn’t be calmed down when she see her husband handcuffed among police officers. Ex-Chechen commander was taking to Airport police station because of his resistance to the deportation order.
Nuray Canan Bezirgan, an activist for the human rights organization Mazlum-Der, said Abdulazimov is diagnosed with lung and kidney problems and need urgent madical attention. “He came to Turkey as a refugee with his family, they are in great need. He is old and sick, this desicion is illegal and inhumane” said Bezirgan.
