British Airways appoints

Seçtiklerimiz

British Airways, the UK’s flagship carrier which operates 33 weekly flights from the UAE to London Heathrow, has appointed Paolo De Renzis as its new Area Commercial Manager, Middle East.

De Renzis replaces Paul Starrs, who is returning to British Airways’ Waterside headquarters in London, following three years heading up the region.

Having previously been responsible for the airline’s commercial operations in Germany and Central Europe, De Renzis, who has held various positions in his 20 year tenure with British Airways, is excited about the prospect of bolstering the airline’s regional commercial proposition.

‘The industry is facing its toughest time ever and we need to be able to adapt to market conditions. While many other airlines have already gone out of business we plan to come out of this difficult time leaner and stronger. The Middle East has an important role to play in that strategy,’ said De Renzis.

‘The Middle East is a vital growth market for British Airways and our re-entrance into Saudi Arabia in a few months time is testimony to our regional commitment and expansion plans. From our products and services to our exceptional value for money pricing, the customer is at the heart of our business, and everything we do must be to their benefit,’ he added.

British Airways currently operates 26 weekly flights from Dubai, as well as a daily service from Abu Dhabi, to Terminal 5, its base of operations at London Heathrow.

A full timetable of British Airways’ UAE – London services is available online at ba.com – where the lowest fares are guaranteed – and customers can book, pay and check-in online for their flights
