Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (ISG) continues to expand its European network with the launch of a new direct route to Prague, operated by AJet. The new service offers four weekly round-trip flights, strengthening connectivity between Türkiye and Central Europe.

The launch marks an important milestone in ISG’s strategy to enhance international accessibility and provide passengers with a broader range of destinations.
Enhanced Connectivity for Business and Leisure Travel
The new Prague route is designed to serve both business and leisure travellers, offering a fast and convenient travel option between Istanbul and one of Europe’s most popular cultural and economic hubs. With its historic architecture, vibrant tourism appeal and growing business links, Prague is expected to attract strong demand from passengers departing from Sabiha Gökçen.
The direct flights are also anticipated to contribute positively to bilateral tourism and trade relations between Türkiye and the Czech Republic.
ISG Strengthens Its European Destination Portfolio
The addition of Prague further reinforces Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport’s position as a key gateway to Europe, particularly for passengers from Istanbul’s Anatolian side and surrounding regions. Through close cooperation with airline partners such as AJet, ISG continues to diversify its route network and improve travel flexibility for its customers.
With the launch of this new route, AJet and ISG aim to support sustainable growth in international traffic while enhancing passenger choice and connectivity.
