Wizz Air launches today a direct flight between Tirana International Airport and London
Tirana, 19 April 2018: Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, launched today a direct flight between Tirana International Airport and Luton Airport, London. Airbus A320 aircraft will be used to fly the route.
The new destination offered by Wizz Air is scheduled for three times a week, and the company has announced prices starting at just 29.99 EUR, bringing truly affordable travel opportunities to the Albanians.
“We are delighted with the new service operated by Wizz Air. This will be of great help to many Albanians who live in or near to London, and will offer new opportunities for tourists to explore Albania more fully,” said TIA Chief Executive Officer, Dr Rolf Castro-Vasquez.
The launch of the London flight by Wizz Air comes after the Hungarian carrier started in April last year a low-fare service connecting Tirana and Budapest.
