Star Alliance member, Turkish Airlines will operate a fourth daily rotation from its Istanbul (IST)hub into London Heathrow from March 28th.
The service will increase to four daily which TK operates with a mix of equipment. BA is the only other carrier operating the London Heathrow IST route, also on a 3x daily basis.
IATA BSP data (Airport IS) shows that nearly 450,000 passengers have flown the IST-LHR sector on BA and TK in the twelve month period between Nov 08-09.
