Transaero Airlines 11 Month Results for 2010

Transaero operational results for the first 11 months of 2010 indicate continued stable development and growth.
       
        For the period from January to November 2010:
       
        *
       
        Revenue passenger-kilometers totaled more than 23.98 bln RPK that is 40.5 % more than for the same period last year.

        Passenger volume totaled 6.16 million passengers, 32.5% more than for the first 11 months of 2009).

        Transaero carried more than 36,095.69 tons of cargo, 38.2% more than for the same period in 2009.
        *
       
        Revenue ton-kilometers totaled 236.47 RTK, 40.4% more than for the first 11 months of 2009.
       
        From January to November 2010 Transaero’s passenger volume grew 27.4% on domestic routes and 33, 9% on international routes.
       
        Transaero also observed growth in the number of passengers using Transaero’s premium classes of service. Number of passengers flying Imperial class grew 74.4% over 2009 volumes in the first 11 months of 2010.
       
        With the expansion of Transaero’s domestic and international route network, the volume of Transaero’s transit passengers has increased 31% in the first 11 months of 2010.
       
        In 2010 Transaero added 12 new aircraft to its fleet: 5 Boeing 777s, 3 Boeing 747s, 1 Boeing 767 and 3 Boeing-737s. Among Transaero’s new Boeing aircraft there is a uniquely configured Boeing 747-400 able to carry up to 521 passengers, representing the most spacious passenger aircraft of its type in Russian civil aviation.
       
        Transaero has launched more than 20 new regular flights in 2010, including international flights of strategic importance: Moscow- Beijing, Moscow-New York and Moscow-Miami. The domestic route network has been expanded significantly. Transaero now flies to Vladivostok, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski, Khabarovsk, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Yekaterinburg, Omsk, Samara and Ufa from Saint-Petersburg. Transaero has launched flights from Moscow to Yakutsk and Rostov-on-Don. Transaero has also launched the flights to Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Latvia.
       
        The carrier has also advanced its positions on tourist routes, now offering direct flights to Thailand from 10 Russian cities and more frequent flights to other popular leisure destinations.
       
        To date Transaero has already broken its own record, surpassing overall operational results for all of 2009 in the first 11 months of 2011. This year, the number of winter season routes exceeds 100 for the first time. Never before in its history, Transaero carried more than 6 million passenger a year.
