A man has been stopped at the Brisbane domestic airport trying to take a gun into the terminal.Security staff spotted the weapon in the man’s luggage and called the AFP who took him into custody.
An airport insider told 9NEWS that the traveller had come in from America, although authorities are yet to confirm when and where he came in.
An AFP media officer would not comment, other than to confirm that a man had been arrested.
