The largest new addition to Air New Zealand’s fleet made a flying visit to the Capital on Wednesday when the airline gave the Wellingtonians a preview of their new 777-300.

Improvements in long haul passenger comfort will add to the attractiveness of New Zealand as a destination – effectively bringing us a little bit closer to the rest of the world” said Steven Fitzgerald, CEO of Wellington Airport.
The 777-300 heralds a new era in long haul flying for Air New Zealand passengers with the unique Kiwi designed lie-flat Economy Skycouch, brand new Premium Economy seating and enhanced Business Premier experience. The aircraft will service the Auckland-Los Angeles-London route from April.
