Turkish Airlines Orders Additional B737 MAX Simulator from HAVELSAN
Istanbul, June 2025 – Turkish Airlines has placed a new order with HAVELSAN for an additional Boeing 737 MAX Full Flight Simulator (FFS), set for delivery in January 2026. The agreement further deepens the flag carrier’s long-standing partnership with HAVELSAN and reinforces its commitment to strengthening its pilot training infrastructure with locally developed technologies.
This new simulator will be the third B737 MAX FFS and the seventh full flight simulator overall supplied by HAVELSAN to Turkish Airlines, all certified to EASA Level D standards.
Turkish Airlines Chairman Prof. Ahmet Bolat stated that this strategic collaboration supports the airline’s dedication to world-class pilot training and safety excellence. HAVELSAN CEO Dr. Mehmet Akif Nacar emphasized the pride in continuing their trusted partnership.
Originally launched in 2018, the cooperation between the two companies includes a total of 11 training devices, including FFS and FTD systems for both A320neo/ceo and B737 aircraft types.
