Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), the operator and managing body of Bahrain International Airport (BIA), hosted an Air Service Development (ASD) workshop instructed by Mr. Jean Marc Trottier – Executive Vice President and Mr. Peter Adams – Senior Practice Executive, Aviation Safety & Risk Management, both from Aviation Strategies International.
The workshop touched on various aspects related to ASD, such as the marketing position of BIA in the regional market, the role of Gulf Air at the airport, and the importance of ASD and how to prepare for it, among other topics. Staff members from the departments of Airport Operations, Strategy Implementation and Business Improvement, Development & Technical, and Commercial participated in the workshop.
