That became possible thanks to the introduction of the through fares for transit flights from biggest Russian cities Moscow and St.-Petersburg to European capitals and vice versa since June 2009. All flights are operated via Air Moldova hub in Chisinau. In addition to attractive prices, passengers can appreciate the convenience of travelling via Chisinau International Airport – the minimum connecting time in which is just 35 minutes. The 2000th transfer passenger is Russian citizen Evghenia Ermolenco, who arrived on 30th of December on the route Moscow-Kisinau. She has purchased ticket to travel on the itinerary Chisinau-Moscow-Istanbul of Air Moldova airline. Representatives of Air Moldova congratulated the lucky passenger, offering souvenirs with company logo and a special gift – a certificate for free round trip flight in business class on any direct destination of Air Moldova airline. The passenger can use this ticket during the 2010. In addition, the airline has provided the 2000th passenger with VIP Lounge service for this flight.
