Riyadh Air Finalizes Order for 25 Airbus A350-1000 Aircraft at Paris Air Show
Paris, June 2025 – Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia’s new premium international airline, has signed a firm order for 25 Airbus A350-1000 aircraft, with options to expand the deal to 50 units. The agreement was signed during the Paris Air Show, attended by high-profile representatives including Saudi Arabia’s PIF Governor H.E Yasir Al-Rumayyan and Airbus and Riyadh Air executives.
With this move, Riyadh Air becomes the first Saudi airline to operate the A350-1000, aligning with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goal of reaching 300 million air passengers annually and positioning Saudi Arabia as a global aviation hub.
The A350-1000 offers exceptional fuel efficiency, range, and comfort, supporting Riyadh Air’s sustainability goals while delivering a high-end passenger experience.
Airbus highlighted the aircraft’s readiness for 50% Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) today, aiming for 100% SAF capability across its fleet by 2030.
This strategic order is a key step in Riyadh Air’s ambition to reshape global air travel and reinforce Saudi Arabia’s fast-growing aviation ecosystem.
