Airport International Group, the Jordanian company responsible for the rehabilitation, expansion and operation of Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) announced the traffic performance of the month of November.
QAIA registered growth in November’s traffic performance with almost 480,000 passengers, compared to around 403,000 passengers in November 2009, translating into a 19.1% year-over-year increase.
Aircraft movement reported a 10.4% growth with 5,376 aircraft movements in November 2010 compared to 4,868 in November 2009. Also, November 2010 cargo registered a modest increase of 1.4% with 7,203 tonnes compared to 7,106 tonnes in November 2009.
