Airbus SE (Airbus) today reported a robust financial performance for the first nine months of 2025. Consolidated revenues climbed by 7 % year-on-year to €47.4 billion (9 M 2024: €44.5 billion).
Key highlights from the nine-month period ending 30 September include:
- Delivered 507 commercial aircraft, up from 497 a year earlier.
- Adjusted EBIT (Earnings Before Interest & Taxes) reached €4.1 billion (9 M 2024: €2.8 billion).
- Net income rose to €2.64 billion, with earnings per share of €3.34 (vs €2.29 in 9 M 2024).
Airbus’ commercial aircraft division generated revenues of €33.9 billion, reflecting a 3 % increase, driven by higher deliveries and growth in services.
The Helicopters segment posted revenues of €5.7 billion (+16 %), and the Defence & Space division revenues reached €8.9 billion (+17 %).
Earlier in the year, Airbus reiterated its full-year 2025 guidance: the company anticipates about 820 commercial aircraft deliveries, adjusted EBIT of around €7 billion, and free cash flow before customer financing of approximately €4.5 billion, assuming continued stability in global trade, supply-chain and air-traffic conditions.
“Our nine-month results reflect the level of commercial aircraft deliveries and a solid performance in the Defence & Space and Helicopters businesses,” commented Guillaume Faury, CEO of Airbus. “Deliveries remain back-loaded amid a complex and dynamic operating environment. Meanwhile, we continue to expand our industrial capacity to support the commercial aircraft ramp-up.”
Airbus remains on track with its strategic production ramp-up initiatives. For example, the A320 Family programme is targeted to reach a monthly output of 75 aircraft by 2027, while other programmes (A220, A330, A350) are progressing according to schedule.
